um. wiki says "pld":

In politics:

* "Partido de la LiberaciĆ³n Dominicana" or Dominican Liberation Party
* "Partidul Liberal Democrat" or Liberal Democratic Party (Romania)

Or some thin film device which I presume is not the case. A better explanation comes from urban dictionary, which explains:


1. Abbreviation of "played" / "well played" - used in many ways to mean derivatives of "good" or "well done".

2. The hip new "old" when replying to someone who thinks they are introducing something new and fresh to a conversation, but its old news.


So it's like rr but no rry.
