...Vladimir Colin (pen name of Jean Colin; May 1, 1921 - December 6, 1991) was a Romanian short story writer and novelist. One of the most important fantasy and science fiction authors in Romanian literature, whose main works are known on several continents, he was also a noted poet, translator, journalist and comic book author.

..si crescusem cu povesti de nenea asta. Eram convins ca'i bine mersi.
si cu ocazia asta am aflat ca a fost casatorit cu nina cassian si ca a fost un comunist de frunte - ba chiar unul dintre cei mai perfizi (din punctul meu de vedere).

In 2006, the Presidential Commission for the Study of the Communist Dictatorship in Romania nominated him (together with Ştefănescu, Sorin Toma, and others) among the prominent Communist activists responsible for censorship.

da, asta cu comunismul m-a surprins si pe mine, desi eu dintotdeauna am simtit in Legende aceeasi abordare literara ca in lucrarile lui Pavel Corut, o certa similitudine intre modul in care amandoi priveau poporul roman cu reverie, dandu-i un aer mitic. pagina de wiki e scrisa de un roman, se simte in multe exprimari, asa ca nu stiu cat de adevarat e ca e unul din cei mai importanti autori de SF din .ro. oricum, as vrea sa citesc sa vad ce a mai scris.
